Description

The new Doctor’s Data GI 360 stool test provides extensive information about the status of your microbiome (bacteria that inhabit your GI tract) and the presence of bacteria, viruses, parasites and yeast. This test also provides an analysis of digestive function, inflammatory markers, gut immunology, presence of short chain fatty acids and general markers of GI health.

The GI360 utilizes a sensitivity profile and four different analysis tools to provide the most comprehensive assessment of the microbiome and digestive health:

PCR Technology is used to examine the presence of viruses, pathogenic bacteria and parasites. Microscopic Analysis is used to determine the presence of protozoa, worms and yeast. Microbiology/Culture of organisms determines the presence of pathogenic bacteria, imbalanced bacteria, dysbiotic bacteria and yeast.

Chemistry Analysis provides us with information about digestion and absorption, the presence of inflammation, immune status of the GI tract and the presence of short chain fatty acids (SCFA) and that support healthy cells within our GI tract.
Sensitivity Profile determines the effectiveness of natural and prescriptive agents that could be used to treat the findings on the test.
