The ZRT Sleep Balance Profile provides a urinary measurement of the melatonin metabolite 6-sulfatoxymelatonin (MT6s) in relation to cortisol and cortisone and can reveal the cause of sleep disruption so that correct measures can be taken to restore a healthy sleep pattern. Quite often, difficulty falling asleep can be related to stress and elevated nighttime cortisol levels. Low nighttime melatonin is often the result of too much light and activity late into the evening. Test Requirements
The ZRT Sleep Balance Profile requires four timed urine collections – first and second morning urine then an evening and nighttime collection. All collections are dried onto paper cards provided in the kit. Please read all instructions carefully before collecting samples. Make sure that the urine has adequate time to dry on the cards before enclosing them in the kit for mailing.
